| El
Tigre, Puerto Vallarta
This
course is designed by the acclaimed Robert von Hagge. Recently opened
for play at the Paradise Village Beach Resort and Spa in Nuevo Vallarta,
Mexico. It plays to 7,239 yards and features numerous lakes and
strategically placed bunkers. It features pristine Tifon Bermuda
grass fairways and Tifdwarf Champion greens.
The memorable experience begins upon arrival
at the Club, as golfers pass through an impressive stone archway resembling
a Mayan temple, beside which a real Bengal tiger lives securely in
his habitat. Further in, the 45,000 sq. ft. clubhouse sits perched
in the heart of EL TIGRE offering spectacular views in all directions.
The experience continues with the classic risk & reward challenge
of the dogleg par four hole at five, the par three offering at six,
which is an island green protected by a Scottish pot bunker, and the
diabolic 18th, a par five measuring over 600 yards from the back tees.

"With its dramatic views of the Sea of Cortez from every
hole, The Desert Course at Cabo del Sol is one of the most unique
layouts I've designed. The natural beauty of desert, mountain and
ocean provides an ideal setting and some of the best terrain for
golf anywhere in the world. My design incorporates traditional bunkering,
expansive greens, wide fairways, multiple tee areas, natural waste
areas and spectacular ocean views. It's Cabo's newest challenge
and one of the most scenic courses I've designed."
